VEAP is the largest food shelf in the state of Minnesota and to serve the every growing demand in this community, our goal is to benefit from the momentum of the March Campaign and raise over 150,000 in pounds and dollars.
Why should you support the March Campaign?
The need is great. Between 2008-2010, in the nine-county Twin Cities area, the jump in visits to food shelves increased by 97%.
Second Harvest Heartland reports visits by seniors to Minnesota's suburban emergency food programs increased more than 70%.
Nearly half to those served through the VEAP food pantry are dependent children.
Because you care about our neighbors in need.
Consider a food drive at your place of worship, business, a school or other organization. Host a move night or other event and ask people to bring a donation for the VEAP food shelf.
