Our Services

VEAP's four service programs work together to help alleviate the financial stress low-income individuals and families face as the result of unexpected expenses or lapses in income. Programs are designed to address a particular need and when used together can help avoid a financial crisis such as loss of housing, transportation or employment. Whether the hardship is from a disability, job transition, or the financial and physical stresses of aging, VEAP has been standing in the gap for over 35 years, and is committed to the future of the communities we serve.

Despite the numbers, people generally believe poverty does not exist in the suburbs, and consequently, more resources are available to low-income families in the cities.

VEAP provides a much-needed safety net for families struggling financially in a suburban area, thanks to support from the community.
