Children and Youth Services Program
Certain times of the year are especially difficult for households already stretched to their limits. A little extra help during these emotionally and financially stressful times provides powerful benefits. Children in our community greatly benefit from our holiday services and the number of children we serve has steadily increased each year.
VEAP's Children and Youth Services Include:
Birthday Bags
Children 12 and under - cake, frosting, candles, plates, napkins and favors. Designed to offer the family an opportunity to celebrate special times in their children's lives. Find out more about birthday bags.
Summer Youth Food Program
Children K-12 - 5-day breakfast and lunch pack once a week for 10 weeks. Designed to take the place of the free and reduced meals they had during the school year.
Back to School
General school supplies for each child K-12. Designed to offer children equal opportunities to start school with the same resources as all children. Find out more about the Back to School Program.
Holiday Gift Store
Parents have the opportunity to choose gifts that they give to their children (birth to 18). Designed to help parents provide stable and positive holiday memories for their children.
